    Position Summary

    This position will play a key role in production financing activities and reporting. Responsible for funding, maintaining financing schedules and reporting while adhering to Corporate Finance deadlines.


    • Coordinate month end production cost reporting package from in house and offsite accountants, review and save reports to the corporate finance drive.
    • Responsible for adhering to Corporate reporting deadlines.
    • Update various reports and schedules including but not limited to Loan, Financing AR, Tax Credits and Delivery schedule.
    • Create writer payment schedules
    • Development and writer room payroll
    • Assist with setup for new productions (liaison with payroll company)
    • Process funding requests and borrowing certificates in compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Liaison with bank/lender for funding received, loan payments or deposit into account.
    • Support the accounting department when needed
    • Assist with production audit schedules
    • Assist with subsequent tax filings
    • Projects as assigned

    Knowledge & Experience


    • Accounting, finance or quantitative undergraduate degree
    • 5+ years finance/accounting experience (production accounting experience as asset)
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with all levels of managementvand staff
    • Excellent team Player
    • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision


    Technical Competencies:

    • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
    • Smart Accounting and Global Vista is an asset
