    Position Summary

    The Manager, Reporting – LA Film, will have responsibility for monthly reporting of the eOne Features film division, including reconciling and booking film production intercompany balances, managing bank reconciliations, analyzing titles against budget, and overseeing of the intercompany process. This position will actively participate in month-end close process and support various operational and finance teams, both in financial and management reporting.


    • Prepare consolidated reporting packs, accounting, analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, income statement reconciliation and operating expense transactions within the LA Film division.
    • Responsible for analysis and reporting of consolidated operating expenses
    • Ownership of intercompany process within LA Film division as well as with other divisions in eOne
    • Oversee and prepare working paper schedules on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
    • Manage and assist in preparing materials for external and internal audits
    • Supervise and oversee various monthly analysis packs submitted to Group Finance
    • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and by title information
    • Implement process improvements within areas of responsibility
    • Actively involved in ensuring compliance with internal controls
    • Accomplish tasks on time and take on special projects as needed

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and professional designation (CPA)
    • Minimum 5 years accounting and reporting experience. Consolidation experience is required.
    • Production accounting experience an asset
    • Strong technical accounting skills; knowledge of GAAP accounting rules, practices, and reporting requirements
    • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and possess ability to navigate and use other web-based systems as necessary. Expert level Excel skills required.
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP is an asset
    • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, multi-tasking and execution skills
    • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
    • Ability to use initiative and take ownership of outlined responsibilities
    • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines, simultaneously handling multiple projects
