    Position Summary

    The Executive Assistant will provide professional, confidential support to two senior television production Executives within alternative programming. As a proven achiever and polished professional, you have exceptional time management and organizational skills.  The successful individual will be resourceful with an energetic demeanor and a proven track of providing outstanding executive assistance.  The individual will be proactive and anticipate Executive needs, can manage stressful situations, and work well with a wide variety of people.


    • Provide professional, confidential and administrative support to two Executives
    • Anticipate needs, performing routine and non-routine tasks
    • Manage preparation for internal and external meetings including conference calls and circulating schedules/ agendas.
    • Managing and reviewing high level or confidential correspondence; ensuring accuracy and quality of work
    • Proactively provide calendar management, screening requests by priority.
    • Maintain production and cost report summaries as well as other departmental reporting, including Executives expense reports
    • Liaise with legal, production management, corporate, and finance and other internal departments
    • File, research, and manage other general administrative duties
    • Provide any additional support as requested by Executives
    • Manage travel arrangements and proactively checking on cancellations or delays to ensure alternate arrangements are made
    • Handle requests and concerns with tact and diplomacy
    • Take notes in meetings and on calls
    • Manage special projects as required

    Knowledge & Experience

    • 2-3 years administrative experience, supporting senior professionals as an executive assistant
    • Post-secondary education in a related field
    • Exceptional in MS Office applications (Specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook)
    • Experience in financial modelling considered an asset
    • Strong dictation and typing skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • The ideal individual will be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks under tight time frames, and a self-starter who is able to work both independently and function well within a team.
    • The individual will demonstrate strong independent judgment and a high degree of interpersonal effectiveness to be able to deal with stakeholders across various levels both internally and externally.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment where flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential.
    • Relationship builder and able to interact respectfully and confidently with internal executives, executive assistants and external contacts.
    • Ability to manage efficiently in a multi- tasked environment and ensure deadlines are met by prioritizing work flow.
    • Demonstrated discretion and confidence dealing with highly sensitive matters.            
    • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
