    Position Summary

    The position plays an integral role in the company’s forecasting and budgeting process, in addition to supporting key senior management initiatives with detailed financial analysis. The SFA collaborates with finance and non-finance colleagues across the United States and Canada.


    • Coordination, consolidation and review of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and 3-year plans
    • Monthly variance analysis and reporting pack preparation
    • Ongoing consolidation and monitoring of EBITDA and cash positions in each business unit
    • Hold an integral role in the team’s monthly forecast exercises
    • Development of financial presentations for senior executives
    • Maintain the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow models for Forecast and Budget
    • Analyze and provide critical review of P&L, balance sheets and cash flow forecasts
    • Inter-company reporting and confirmations with territories
    • Assistance in the implementation and further development of the company’s financial planning and reporting system
    • Various other film-related financial analysis (e.g. sensitivity analysis on film performance, etc.)

    Key Competencies

    • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in FP&A required
    • Experience of Financial Accounting or Management Accounts an advantage
    • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial information, draw conclusions and present findings to multiple stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting rules, practices, and reporting requirements
    • Attention to detail in all areas of work, good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
    • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Strong financial modelling experience
    • Computer literate, especially strong in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups etc)
    • Able to cope in a fast paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines, simultaneously handling multiple projects.
    • Experience with Navision and/or Prophix considered an asset
    • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
