    Position Summary

    This is a support role to the eOne scripted team with all aspects of administration, organisational and operational tasks. This key supporting role requires instinctive organisational skills and adaptability as well as a keen interest in scripted development and all areas of original television content.

    Responsibilities

    Main Responsibilities

    • Reader management:
      • Manage all readers
      • Send books / manuscripts / scripts to readers swiftly and effectively
      • File and log reports and process invoices in an accurate and timely way
      • Find new readers when needed
    • Manage weekly book reports and new material that is pitched and submitted in to the UK, read and assess some material and give clear feedback
    • Checking that TV rights are available with publishers
    • Sitting in on script meetings and taking notes as required
    • Arrange meetings with producers who are keen to pitch us content to find ways to work with us
    • Develop a good understanding of the scripted UK market in terms of the commissioners and broadcasters, production companies and writing, producing and directing talent
    • Keep up to date with contemporary drama
    • Support scripted Executives from our other hubs in LA, Sydney and Toronto when they are in London and help to set meetings and co-ordinate schedules with the London team

     

    Administrative Duties:

    • Diary management and travel coordination for markets (MIPTV, MIPCOM, MIA, LA, SERIES MANIA, C21) and research trips
    • Managing and processing personal expenses
    • Input purchase orders and process against budget
    • Organise and send out weekly agendas before weekly meeting
    • Order books, DVDs and other research material and send to writers and producers where needed
