    Position Summary

    The Theatrical Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting the marketing strategy across designated UK & Eire eOne film releases.


    • Develop a fully integrated film strategy with the marketing team for the specific UK & Eire eOne releases that combines an exact P&A, agreed BO, marketing plan with a clear communication strategy, defined target audience, media plan, promotional activity, creative and exhibitor marketing strategy.
    • Managing members of the marketing team to develop strategic direction for each assigned release.
    • Management of several £m+ media plans at any one time, working closely with the media agency on a regular basis.
    • Maintain oversight of agency allocations and costs, building strong working relationships in the process.
    • Reporting – responsibility for all Marketing Strategy documents being well drafted, accurate and up to date for circulation and presentation to key stakeholders internally and externally.
    • Comprehensive feedback on all aspects of marketing during the lifecycle of the film release to the Head of Marketing on a 121 basis and in Distribution meetings.
    • Work closely with the Publicity team to ensure PR is an integrated part of the planning and implementation process for every campaign.
    • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure exhibition marketing and in-cinema presence is maximised for every campaign.
    • Lead, challenge and clearly communicate with media, promotional, digital & creative agencies throughout the campaign planning process.
    • Deliver quality marketing campaigns for all releases. Lead by example releasing own titles exceptionally, as well as expertly managing a team to ensure a holistic overview of strategy.

    Key Competencies

    • Full understanding of theatrical release marketing and distribution.
    • Successful track record in high profile, event-level marketing and/or advertising, with experience on campaigns with large media budgets.
    • Proven managerial experience with a small-medium sized team.
    • A strong creative thinker that is capable of multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines within a fast-changing environment. Experience of managing and originating creative with a full understanding of AV, print and production.
    • Ability to construct and manage budgets accurately and cost-efficiently.
    • Strategic thinker – ability to think through strategy across film and film cycle and to be continuously aware of the bigger picture
    • Exceptional time-management and driven approach to work.

    • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
