    Position Summary

    Reporting to the VP FP&A Film the purpose of the role is to review the group budgets and plans submitted by all distribution territories and consolidate into a view and presentation that can be presented to the VP FP&A, Film.


    Forecasting and budgeting

    • Timetable the budgeting and forecast process for the Film Distribution territories to ensure numbers received in a timely manner to consolidate
    • Consolidate Distribution territories budgets and forecasts to review and analyse – to include P&L, cashflow and Balance Sheet
    • Eliminate inter-company transactions across the Distribution group
    • Preparation of Film Distribution presentation for Budget & Forecast & 3-year plan
    • Consolidate risk and opportunities across the Distribution territories


    Monthly Rolling Forecast

    • Consolidate monthly rolling forecast for Film Distribution
    • Responsible for high level reconciliation from previous month to current month
    • Identify any inconsistencies across the theatrical release slate in each territory
    • Maintain Rolling forecast risks and opportunities for Film Distribution
    • Develop with assistance from the VP FP&A, an appropriate monthly reporting pack for Film Distribution that looks at key drivers and revenue streams by territory



    • Develop KPI’s by territory to analyse submissions sent
    • Develop Distribution sensitivities to optimise by title profit across the group, based on individual distribution contracts
    • Consolidate IIC for cashflow across the Distribution territories
    • Develop a consolidated ultimate model to review and analyse revenue in each market
    • Provide data as requested to other commercial FP&A teams such as licensing


    • Manage and Develop one direct report’s including appraisal’s and objective setting.
    • Ad hoc involvement in system implementation for FP&A
    • Ad hoc tasks and analyses as required

    Key Competencies

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Articulate with advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise way to both a financial and non-financial audience
    • A proactive and responsible attitude to workload, with a propensity to own the key duties of the role and strive for continuous improvement
    • Commercial awareness and appreciation of the core aims of the business and where it sits in terms of markets, products, customers and suppliers
    • Drive and enthusiasm
    • Practical knowledge of relevant computer systems
    • Previous experience of providing analysis and support within a business is also preferred
    • Ability to review processes with clarity and create efficiencies


    Other Requirements


    • ACA / ACCA / ACMA qualified (first time passes preferred) with at least one year’s experience working in a similar role
    • A minimum of 3 “B” grades at A level
