    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst but working closely with the VP FP&A, this role will support the team of two consolidating Film Distribution across the group for Budgeting and Forecasting.


    Forecasting and budgeting

    • Develop with the Senior Finance Analyst appropriate tools and spreadsheets to consolidate information from each territory
    • Prepare schedules in order for Senior Finance Analyst and VP FP&A to challenge and understand territory numbers
    • Assist with preparation of Budgeting and Forecasting presentations
    • Analyse actual and projected performance versus plans and forecasts
    • Input to Film Distribution presentation for Budget and Forecast

    Monthly Rolling Forecast

    • Consolidate rolling forecasts submitted from Distribution Territories
    • Assist in building templates for the territories to complete to ensure consolidation is easier
    • Assist with data input into monthly rolling forecast pack
    • Variance analysis between present and previous month forecasts


    • Maintain IIC schedule across the Distribution territories
    • Input to consolidated SOP model


    • Engage with system and process review as appropriate
    • Ad hoc tasks and analyses as required

    Key Competencies

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Articulate with advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise way to both a financial and non-financial audience
    • A proactive and responsible attitude to workload, with a propensity to own the key duties of the role and strive for continuous improvement
    • Drive and enthusiasm
    • Practical knowledge of relevant computer systems
    • Previous experience of providing analysis and support within a business is also preferred
    • Ability to review processes with clarity and create efficiencies


    Other Requirements


    • Part ACCA / CIMA qualified (first time passes preferred) with at least one year experience within another business
    • A minimum of 3 “B” grades at A level
