    Position Summary

    This role will play a critical role in the consolidation and reporting of Film & Television monthly results, assist in the analysis of historical, current, projected financial information, and play an integral role in other management reporting and analyses.


    • Monthly and quarterly consolidation and review of divisional financial statements and reporting packages
    • Preparation and ownership of monthly variance analysis and reporting packs for various stakeholders
    • Assist in development of new reporting packages and financial presentations for senior leadership
    • Prepare supporting schedules and analysis required for management reporting
    • Correspond with regional finance teams and other corporate departments as needed
    • Identify and manage evolving technical accounting issues as required
    • Provide various ad-hoc financial analysis as required
    • Accomplish tasks on time and contribute to the team by taking on special projects as needed

    Key Competencies

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and professional designation
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in similar roles
    • Prior experience in multinational, multicurrency corporations is an asset
    • Knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, and reporting requirements
    • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Computer literate, including strong working skills of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of Tagetik is an asset
    • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, multi-tasking and execution skills.
    • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
    • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
