    Position Summary

    The Senior Publicity Manager will play an integral role as part of a highly effective Publicity team, responsible for implementing exceptional UK publicity campaigns for eOne Theatrical film releases across all genres.

    Responsibilities

    • Take the lead in devising the press strategy for given titles and oversee the UK Publicity campaign in the lead up to a theatrical release
    • Oversee all aspects of the film’s UK PR campaign including publicity screenings, inviting journalists and following up for reactions, setting up interviews, pulling together talent schedules and implementing non-talent PR ideas and PR stunts
    • Talent handling high-profile actors, directors and producers
    • Regularly reporting to the Distribution team on the progress of the campaign in written reports and in regular meetings
    • Work effectively with the Film Marketing team to ensure a co-ordinated PR campaign is executed to the highest standard
    • Work with the Head of Publicity to manage own budget and cost reporting
    • Work with the Head of Publicity on all aspects of film premieres and special event screenings
    • Play an active role at events including award ceremonies to help manage all logistics for their smooth running
    • Work effectively with eOne Transactional team to hand over learnings from the Theatrical campaign
    • Build effective professional relationships with key UK film bodies such as BAFTA, BIFA, London Film Festival and BFI

    Key Competencies

    • Demonstrable experience directly in PR for theatrical film distribution 
    • Previous experience working with Sales Agents, Publicists, Agents and PR Agencies is preferred
    • Good knowledge and contacts within UK media across print, TV, radio and online
    • Able to work within a given budget
    • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and with tight and multiple deadlines
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Able to work as part of a team as well as individually
    • Proficient in MS applications including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills
    • Attention to detail in all areas of work
    • Ability to work efficiently managing tasks and time
