    Entertainment One’s Family & Brands Division is now gearing up for the launch of its newest property, Ricky Zoom, a brand new animated pre-school TV series from the producers of PJ Masks.

    Position Summary

    Reporting to the VP Creative Services, you will oversee all creative that is produced by newly created Creative Services department, supporting the Licensing, Marketing and Brand teams.  You will use your experience as a seasoned Art Director to ensure the team produces creative which pushes the boundaries within each brand, whilst at the same time ensuring we stay true to the values of each property.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the creative of all core and trend style guides assets, with constant awareness of how these assets can be used commercially
    • Follow and identify relevant trends, to support each of our global territories, create mood boards to support this research and work with the agencies and in house team to deliver all required assets
    • Work with the internal licensing team to help identify opportunities across the range of hard and soft line consumer products
    • Identify potential global retail partners for each of our brands based on a ‘brand fit’ and create visuals to support this
    • Assist the brand team on the development of each show and offer creative support that keeps the integrity of each brand, whilst pushing the commercial opportunities of each one
    • Brief external agencies and proactively work with each them to help get the best out of each brief
    • Oversee the designers and artworkers within the team, being a sounding board for all work they are producing
    • Be the main point of contact for all creative output for the Family & Brands division, offering insightful feedback that helps each brand stay true to it’s core values
    • Be a brand champion for all of our brands

    Key Competencies

    • Ideally worked within the licensing industry
    • Proven experience as an Art Director either in-hosue or within an agency, having overeen a team of multi-disciplined designers
    • Ability to visualise your ideas as part of the briefing process, through mood boards and really ‘sell’ your vision to the agency or the in-house team working on each project
    • Strong knowledge of each of the print and digital processes to ensure consistency across all touch points
    • Range of skills including sketching/scamping ideas and also full knowledge of the Adobe CC suite
    • Interest and knowledge of the fashion industry, especially kids
    • Can demonstrate examples where you have pushed the creative boundaries of brands to get the best out of each commercially
