    Position Summary

    Entertainment One is hiring an Intern to assist the Marketing/Publicity department in executing our TV domestic strategy and preparing marketing materials for key markets/events.


    We are looking for someone to start for January 2019 to July 2019. Please note this is an unpaid position so you must be enrolled in a program that requires internship experience to graduate.

     

    This internship will allow you to:

     

    • Understand the basics of international television distribution marketing and promotion
    • Develop an understanding of the international television festival circuit
    • Acquire knowledge in the development and creation of television marketing assets
    • Gain experience in markets and festival for international distribution in a world-renowned company
    • Acquire hands on experience across program publicity and talent relations

    Responsibilities

    MARKETING/PUBLICITY

    • Gathering submission deadlines for key international and domestic awards
    • Brainstorming and sourcing show related premiums. Reaching out to vendors for cost and lead time
    • Assisting in the creation of marketing materials including social/digital assets, EPKs, unit photography, etc.
    • Assisting in managing RSVPs to eOne events and sharing post analysis reports
    • Pack, ship and track marketing materials to markets and conferences
    • Updating internal reports on weekly basis
    • Compiling and circulating weekly agendas to relevant TV groups
    • Scheduling internal and offsite meetings
    • Compiling and circulating Canadian overnight ratings
    • Assist with processing invoices in a timely manner
    • Updating monthly expenses
    • Assist in on-set press and broadcaster support
    • General administration support
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Key Competencies

    • Extremely Organized and Detail Oriented
    • Able to meet tight deadlines in an everchanging environment
    • Strong team player
    • Experience in the television industry or communications is an asset, but not necessary
