    Position Summary

    Dual reporting to the UK Snr Licensing Director Hardlines and UK Licensing Director Softlines, this position will focus on supporting the Licensing Directors and Licensing Managers to drive the hardlines and softlines categories.


    • Supporting the Licensing Directors and Licensing Managers across all Family & Brands properties
    • Shadow Licensing Mangers to build a wider understanding of the licensing process
    • Become responsible for completing necessary supporting admin for new licensing deals e.g. deal memos, contract checking
    • Undergo regular market research and highlight opportunities to Licensing Managers/Licensing Directors to help drive the categories, working with the Licensing Managers to review new and existing partners
    • Complete regular comp shops to understand the current licensing and retail landscape and highlight any concerns, opportunities and newness to the team
    • Support with category analysis and identify key changes and facts
    • Attend licensee meetings, trade fairs and networking events where appropriate.
    • To learn and understand International roll out plans, identifying any suitable opportunities for UK team to tie into
    • Supporting Licensing Managers/Licensing Directors in identifying and contacting potential licensees, partners and retailers, researching contact names and cold-calling where appropriate
    • Preparation of targeted pitch presentations for potential licensees, partners and retailers
    • Liaison with UK marketing team and License to PR on trade PR plans ensuring relevant information is fed through when required
