    Position Summary

    Position Title: Project Coordinator

    Utilization: 12 month fix term contract

     

    Finance Transformation requires a Project Coordinator with experience in both technical delivery and systems change who can work in a fast-paced environment whilst demonstrating solid coordination skills.  The candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the day-to-day project activities providing support both through administrative and operational management to the project team. The candidate will be expected to communicate at a high standard in verbal and all written forms. They must also be able to liaise with various levels of the business, including external vendors.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information using appropriate project management tools
    • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
    • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
    • Help prepare budgets, monitor and track expenditures
    • Analyze risks with the Project Manager and support the mitigation of the risks
    • Maintain RAID log in conjunction with the Project Manager
    • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate obstacles
    • Work with the Project Manager to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
    • Maintain central repository for project documentation, ensuring adherence with project framework, methodology and templates
    • Organize, attend and participate in project meetings; recording meeting minutes, action items and decisions
    • Coordinate UAT and End User training working closely with the Project Manager and BA on approach
    • Manage and oversee travel planning for groups across the project
    • Act as the point of contact for all logistics for meetings and workshops
    • Provide administrative support as required

    • Strong coordination skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
    • Competency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project (2013 +)

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree or diploma in related field of study
    • 5+ years of project coordination
    • Experience with system implementation(s)
