Multi-skilled IT professional with hands-on experience in support and delivery of IT projects. Must-have skills include VMWare, networking, Windows Server, and Active Directory experience. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues. Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking & related network services. The individual should be motivated, willing to learn new skills and work within a team to accomplish organizational goals.
Working within the eOne IT Infrastructure Team, the VMware Analyst is responsible for effective monitoring, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, hardware and software related infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, application software and related procedures are well maintained, enabling staff to work without technical disruption. After hours on-call support is a requirement of this role.
Additional responsibilities include:
Knowledge of Data Centre, Cisco networks, firewalls, security practices, storage and virtualization platforms.
Location: This role will require travel between Toronto and Brampton locations
