    Position Summary

    The successful candidate will be a digital champion and experienced project leader who has a deep understanding of how our audience consumes technology, be it apps, websites or other interactive experiences. They will be able to identify digital opportunities for our properties, apply commercial knowledge, sell in projects internally, identify and interrogate vendors, and project-manage those opportunities to completion.


    • Writing project briefs for new websites, content and apps, and manage digital agencies, designers and developers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget
    • Collaborating with marketing and product development teams to ensure that editorial, seasonal campaigns and theming within assets reflects brand strategies
    • Managing day to day digital enquiries as required and be key point of contact between agencies and internal team members
    • The ability to support general day to day production when necessary including website maintenance, localisation projects and new brand project launches
    • Creative input into digital artwork and feature artwork for products, including A/B testing
    • Collaborate with the Digital Director, App Store Publishing, on App Store Optimisation
    • Keep up to date with the eOne Family app stores accounts and changes to day-to-day processes
    • Consult on licensed digital products, as required
    • Undertake market research if requested and disseminate report findings
    • Work closely with senior managers and stakeholders to manage digital projects ranging in size and scope
    • Create project timelines production schedules
    • Co-ordinate digital assets working with the UK and international marketing and product development teams
    • Undertake QA Testing before product launch, analyse and effectively communicate the issues
    • Project manage localisation of websites and apps for multiple territories including voice recording sessions and translations

    Key Competencies

    • A desire to be at the forefront of the way in which children and young adults use digital-led solutions
    • Previous experience of developing Apps & Games within Entertainment, ideally for pre-school brands
    • Strong understanding of Content Management Systems and the ability to share knowledge clearly with the editorial teams
    • Proven digital project experience and knowledge of software and coding languages required for iOS, Android and Web products, including HTML and Unity
    • Demonstrable passion for children’s brands
    • Ability to think logically and creatively to resolve problems inherent in any new digital project, whether prioritisation, compliance, budgetary or technical
    • Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about digital trends and emerging technology
    • Creative and confident to share ideas freely and contribute to creative sessions easily
    • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is desirable
    • An understanding and commitment to providing the best user experience across all platforms 
    • Ability to communicate well and get things done in a pro-active manner
    • Strong project manager with ability to juggle several priorities and meet tight deadlines
    • Experience with Basecamp or similar project management / collaboration tools
    • Resourceful with the ability to work independently
    • Ability to stay ‘cool’ when the pressure is on
    • Team player with strong relationship skills
    • ‘Muck in approach’ to wider divisional needs
    • Keen eye for detail
