    Position Summary

    The Digital Manager will be a key member of the Online and Gaming team assisting with roll out of app publishing and promotion strategies for the Family & Brands division of eOne globally, providing key support in the management of our catalogue of apps on iOS, Google, Amazon and other platforms globally. Supporting the Digital Director - Apps, they will execute the app store optimisation, app user acquisition strategies, and assist with product marketing.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute app advertising strategies across multiple channels globally
    • Review and analyse promotional initiatives and running advertising costs to ensure optimal performance of campaigns
    • Work closely with brand and international marketing teams on the execution of campaigns promoting apps to ensure that editorial and theming within assets reflects brand strategies including on the brands’ websites, social media accounts and YouTube channels
    • Maintaining the App launch tracker and other internal documents
    • Being team contact for internal queries related to app store presence and app marketing initiatives globally
    • Undertaking market research as requested and disseminate findings
    • Co-ordinating the production of smaller digital projects – seek relevant artwork and build approvals and work with the marketing team and digital agencies to maintain the schedule effectively
    • Monitoring eOne brands presence and performance on the App stores daily using relevant data and KPIs
    • Identify opportunities for improvement through app store optimisation (app description, icon, screenshots, trailers) and other consumer facing product pages
    • Monitor the ratings and reviews of all our apps, replying to reviews when relevant and flagging recurring issues. Reply to consumer queries in support inboxes.
    • Reviewing competitors’ presence on the app stores regularly, identifying new trends and suggesting new ideas for our listing pages
    • Editing and updating the microsite presence supporting live apps
    • Undertaking other adhoc tasks to support our app publishing business

    Key Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of the app stores and mobile gaming world
    • Excellent understanding of App store optimisation principles and app marketing channels with previous experience marketing apps or mobile games
    • Demonstrable interest for content and children’s brands. Knowledge of the children’s entertainment industry is desirable
    • Strong familiarity with digital metrics
    • Excellent eye for detail
    • Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in digital and the wider technology market place
    • Takes a proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities
    • A diplomat, with the ability to work collaboratively, constructively and effectively with other departments in the division
    • Knowledge of Content Management Systems and HTML is desirable
