    Position Summary

    The VP, Marketing EMEA will lead and develop the eOne Family and Brands marketing strategy and all related activities across EMEA. The role will engage with the leadership team and provide recommendations in the evaluation and formation of strategy for delivering on our mission across the EMEA territory. The VP will lead all EMEA marketing team members and provide guidance and drive accountability to achieve business goals.


    • Work very closely and collaboratively with key Senior Executives across the division to ensure that a long-term vision for eOne brands is developed, promoted and communicated clearly across EMEA marketing functions and ensure the brand strategies are regionally relevant and strategically adapted by the EMEA marketing teams.
    • Work in partnership with the EMEA commercial licensing and content teams to ensure that strategies and priorities are aligned across short and long-term plans.
    • Collaborate with other global marketing functions to understand how strategies and planning can be aligned and share analysis and success with wider marketing teams and brand functions.
    • Continuously analyse and evaluate strategies and competitive landscape with team members to ensure plans and ways of working are fit for purpose and adapt approaches quickly when required, to protect and nurture strong brand growth and sustainability across EMEA.
    • Safeguard strong communication at all times between functions and teams, identifying any gaps in communication processes, rectifying quickly and efficiently.
    • Take responsibility for ensuring that territory marketing strategy documents and roll out plans are well drafted and shared regularly with agents, licensing teams and other stakeholders across EMEA.
    • Take full responsibility for setting clear priorities and ensure the priorities are reviewed regularly to support the eOne Family & Brands business requirements across EMEA.
    • Lead, manage, motivate, mentor and develop the immediate team members at all levels, ensuring that everyone is achieving their potential and working as effectively and efficiently as possible to meet evolving organizational needs.
    • Regularly identify team development and training needs and coach team in prioritising workloads effectively, understand and communicate priorities clearly to support team.
    • Ensure Territory budgets are effectively managed.


    Key Competencies

    • Significant experience of brand marketing, in a Senior Management role, within the licensing, broadcast or entertainment industry
    • Full understanding of the role of brand and marketing within the licensing industry
    • Full understanding of the commercial relationship to marketing and key commercial milestones
    • Exceptional market and competitive knowledge of the brand licensing industry globally
