Position Summary

A key member of the Digital and DVD Marketing teams responsible for managing point of sale, promotions, social media, reports and the production of the sales and marketing presentation materials. This will role will also provide support to the marketing teams including research, creative development and copy checking. The role will jointly report into the Digital and DVD Marketing teams. This is a 12 month Fixed Term contract.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the Quarterly DVD and Digital Sales and Marketing Presentations; Collation of assets for presentation (liaising with the theatrical dept); writing copy and building the Powerpoint presentation
  • Key point of contact departments asset archive; ensuring new assets are uploaded and general maintenance of the site
  • Co-ordinate Social Media channels for Home Entertainment releases;
    • Manage bespoke film pages during transition between Theatrical as necessary
    • Plan and manage (under management of Marketing Managers) social media calendar for HE releases across eOne’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
    • Manage HE content on eOne’s Youtube channel ensuring pack shots and trailers constantly update
  • Assist with 3rd Party Brand Promotions:
    • Act as key contact for 3rd Party Promotions agencies (alongside Marketing Managers)
    • Manage promotional activities for relevant releases, ensuring all creative is well executed and delivered on deadline

DVD specific

  • Co-ordinate the approval of all retailer co-op marketing creative; Checking artwork and copyright lines are correct
  • Co-ordinate the set-up of DVD titles for pre-order; collating assets and ensuring accurate information is sent to the sales team/retailers
  • Manage DVD stock orders for the team and wider company
  • Co-ordinate the design and production of Point of Sale; act as liaison in the relationship between eOne and POS agency; writing briefs; overseeing design and approvals (alongside Marketing Managers).
  • Assist with development of sleeves for new catalogue lines including boxsets, steel books, seasonal titles

Digital specific

  • Digital platform report – review all Digital platforms and make a note of which titles are profiled and promoted and anything interesting happening on the services
  • Input into creative and marketing brainstorms
  • Find competitor marketing activity across Digital, TV and social plus weekly newspaper / magazine clippings of competitor advertising
  • Upload all weekly sales reports to designated folders and spreadsheets
  • Update Competitor Release Schedule with published Digital dates
  • Monthly competitor pricing audit. Maintain database of price promotions and log specific service activity for reference.


  • Provide general marketing and admin support for the department eg. minute taking
  • Co-ordinate film merchandise for the department
  • Manage key marketing databases and research tools
  • Run reports for the team as necessary and ad hoc research and analysis as required
  • Act as point of contact for external agencies for marketing materials (images, trailers, production notes etc.)
  • Involvement in department strategic marketing projects
  • Copy checking of artwork and marketing materials
