Position Summary

The role will focus on managing the TV and Digital/New Media distribution activities of eOne Family & Brands in Asia liaising closely with the Marketing and Licensing divisions to maximise exposure of eOne brands.

Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities:

 

Responsibility for the following territories: Japan, South Korea, Indian Subcontinent, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, East Timor, Mongolia.

  • To fulfil and implement the sales strategy on all linear and non-linear platforms to be defined in conjunction with the Executive Vice President and provide regular comprehensive status reports
  • To negotiate deals, and oversee all stages of the sales process.
  • To achieve annual sales targets.
  • To maintain and renew existing business whilst developing new business, revenue and clients within the above specified territories.
  • To maintain and improve (as a member of the content sales team) the efficiency of the Rights database(s).
  • To provide the Executive Vice President with forecasting upon request;
  • To communicate and work closely with the Licensing Team and Marketing Team to ensure a strategic approach to rolling out the Brands in Asia.
  • To undertake foreign sales trips and participate at international TV Markets.
  • Coordinate the tracking of deals through from interest of clients to  offer, deal memo, final contracts, invoicing, payments, master material requests and delivery of materials in conjunction with Deliveries, Finance and Legal teams
  • Compiling information in terms of sales, broadcasting and ratings and generating PowerPoint presentations for internal and external reports.
  • Work closely with all partners to maximize exposure of the brands by negotiating the best time slots, helping the marketing team to organise promotional activities with the partners and ensuring they have all the assets to best promote and expose the brands on their different platforms
  • Obtain updates (Marketing activities/plans, forecasts, ratings, scheduling etc.) from broadcasters, and digital partners for sharing internally.


Administrative Duties / General:

  • To provide administrative support for internal and external meetings, including markets and festivals.  This will involve scheduling, booking meeting rooms and external venues and liaising with clients and colleagues alike
  • To maintain and update databases and filing systems.
  • Managing Contract database and contractual process.
  • To undertake any other administrative tasks which will ensure the smooth running of the International Content Sales division in Asia.
  • Processing all invoices and get sign off from the relevant manager within the Family & Brands division.

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the Kids business.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and brand building awareness.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight sales targets and deadlines.

 

Languages required:

  • English.
  • Japanese and Korean optional.
