Position Summary

This is an entry level position into a fast-paced finance team in the entertainment industry.   The main responsibility for the role will be a key conduit between the finance and operational arms of the business. The focal point will be a monthly reconciliation of the company’s travel, compiling backup, recording and classifying transactions. There will also be the opportunity to provide assistance to other finance functions when required. This applicant should possess a high energy and organised work ethic.


  • Complete monthly Travel Reconciliation File in accordance with Finance deadlines
  • Collate Travel documentation for relevant business units
  • Specialize and provide advice on Travel coding regarding the classification of prepaid expenses and intercompany travel
  • Respond to ad hoc business requests from intercompany counterparts

Key Competencies

  • Strong MS Excel are an absolute must. The ability to use formulas, pivot tables and other advanced Excel features is required.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with data entry and managing a large volume of transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and attention to detail in all areas of work are crucial.
  • Fast learner and self-starter. Willingness to roll up ones’ sleeves to get the job done.
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team and independently.
