Position Summary

The receptionist will be responsible for the effective and efficient intake and redirection of incoming calls and courier packages in a fast-paced and high volume environment. The incumbent will need to greet all visitors respectfully and in a professional manner. In addition to these duties, various administrative functions fall into the scope of responsibility of the role.


  • Answer all incoming calls quickly and in a courteous and professional manner
  • Handle employee/client requests and concerns with tact and diplomacy
  • Refer visitors/callers/clients to appropriate individuals within the organization
  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing couriers, keeping a thorough track of all packages, and communicating with staff when necessary
  • Perform clerical duties, special projects  and maintain records as position requires
  • Some office housekeeping: Maintain reception and boardroom area appearance including neat organized and current magazines, removal of plates, cups..etc ,  offering beverages to guests.
  • Daily assistance with kitchen clean-up…keeping sink area clean beginning and end of day and loading/unloading dishwasher.
  • Distributing to visitors and maintaining supply of parking validations 
  • Assisting with reception and proper storage of office supplies, working with other operational staff to insure copy/supply room fully stocked.
  • Create expense reports

Key Competencies


  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • 1 to 3 years administrative experience
